The best scientists have spent years analysing redstone and have finally succeeded in isolating the component which transmits redstone energy.
Taking a highly-refined form of redstone together with a focusing mechanism, a precision beam is formed, the Beam Core, capable of creating a field of pure essential redstone. This can then be incorporated into a system to transmit energy over short distances without wires.
Also, according to the latest research, it may be possible, using a synchronised pair of carefully tuned Beam Cores, to transmit (or teleport) an actual living entity. The side effects of teleportation are currently unknown ...
