Galacticraft has its own in-game music, which complements the normal music in vanilla Minecraft. This music only plays in space dimensions.
In Galacticraft 3 Beta, a known issue is that the Galacticraft music is not working, that will be fixed in future.
As of Galacticraft 4, the music is working again!
