The Spider Queen is the boss mob of Venus. It can only be found in the Venus Dungeon.
Appearance
It is similar to a standard Evolved Spider but is about twice as bigger.
Fight
At the start of the fight, the boss will hunt and attack the player with melee. After some damages, she will web up to the roof and shield herself in a web. In that form, she cannot be hurt, either with melee or ranged.
While She will then spawn minions called Juicers which fall from the ceiling and attack the player. Note that every single of those spiders must be killed in order to advance in the fight.
After she reveals herself, the fight get back to "phase 1", and so forth until either the Player or the boss die.
Like the other bosses, if the player leaves the room mid fight, the boss de-spawns and the fight will have to start over, which can be critical since the player's armor is being damaged by the Venus enviroment while the player doesn't get the Shield Controller.
Defeating this boss is a requirement to get the Shield Controller.
