Fallen Meteors are blocks which can be found on the surface of any planet or moon.

Obtaining

Meteor Fall

While there is a player in the space, they fall at random intervals creating an explosion along with a small crater. Bear in mind that they may damage weak materials.

A recently landed fallen meteor is red and very hot and can burn players and any living entity. The meteor then starts gradually cooling, shifting from red to yellow and gray, when it is cold and safe to touch.

Mining

They can only be mined with a Heavy Duty Pickaxe or a Diamond Pickaxe, but be careful as a recently fallen meteor is hot and may burn on contact. Be sure to give it time to cool down.

When mined they will drop Raw Meteoric Iron which can be smelted and used later as a crafting ingredient for Air Locks. It is also possible to pick them up in their natural form if mined with a pick with Silk Touch enchantment.

Summoning

On creative mode or if the game allows commands, or via command blocks, it is possible to summon meteors by command /summon GalacticraftCore.Meteor ~10 ~30 ~ (a meteor will spawn 30 blocks up, and 10 block Eastward from the player). Note: it may destroy blocks on impact.
