The Space Lander is a a type of generated vehicle that help the player to land on the Moon without any fall damage. This vehicle spawns along with the player upon entering the dimension.

Once the player has entered the Moon, the space lander spawns transporting the player and descends to the surface at high speed. The player is prompted to slow down the vehicle to avoid a fatal crash and land it on the surface at a safe speed. The player can accelerate (sneak-key), slow down the descend (jump-key) and steer the vehicle sideways.

The player can exit the lander by dismounting. Once exiting, the player cannot mount anymore as well as the lander do not lift off. Dismounting the vehicle before it lands can lead to fall damage and death.

Crafting Recipe

They have no crafting recipe as they cannot be crafted. They are entities generated by the game.

They are unobtainable on survival or creative mode, unless by cheat commands.

Usage

Space Lander inventory with 18 slots of storage.

The vehicle has its own inventory space which can be accessed by right-clicking. The inventory consists of the slots for the items transported by the rocket before entering the dimension, two slots to retrieve the rocket itself and Rocket Launch Pads and another slot to retrieve the remaining Rocket Fuel which can be collected with Empty Liquid Canisters. Even after exiting the vehicle, its inventory can be used as a chest to store items.

The space lander can be destroyed by punching or firing arrows. It will drop all the content except the fuel and itself.

WARNING: Due to a bug, the Space Lander may sink into the ground once dismounted. It is advisable to remove all items from the lander's inventory.
