Usage
Rocket Launch Pad tiles are a multi-block. This means that they will not function until several of them are placed in the right shape.
To build a Launchpad, Rocket Launch Pad tiles must be placed in a 3 x 3 square. Upon placing the final piece, the Launchpad will build itself. Once completed, your Rocket of choice can be loaded by placing it onto any block of the launch pad, which will cause it to appear on the central block. Your ship is now ready to launch.
The Fuel Loader (required) can be attached to any side of the Launch Pad, and will automatically begin to fill the ship with the supplied fuel when powered. You can also equip it with a Launch Controller, Cargo Loader and Cargo Unloader by placing these next to the pad.
Rocket launch pads are consumed on the launch of a ship (unless programmed not to do so in the Launch Controller). However your 9 rocket launch pad items can be given back to you (together with any spare fuel) inside your Lunar Landing Module (or your Mars Landing Balloons, Venus Entry Pod etc), so have a look in that when you land. They will be lost if you crash-land and destroy the landing vehicle. For rocket trips to Space Stations or to the Overworld, your 9 launch pads and other items will be found in the chest parachuting down close to your own player landing spot.
In Galacticraft 4 a Rocket Launch Pad can be automated using a vanilla Dispenser. Place a rocket inside the Dispenser and activate the Dispenser with a redstone signal to place 1 rocket on the Launchpad. The Dispenser must be positioned beside the Launchpad, centrally, dispensing hole facing the center of the Launchpad. (Feature available from Galacticraft 4 build 155.)
