Galacticraft 3 (GC3) is the most recent update to the Galacticraft mod series.

The most major changes include the addition of the Asteroids dimension, the Tier 3 Rocket, rotating space stations, the introduction of a temperature system, Titanium Armor, Titanium Tools, a second tier to the power system, and Display Screens and many other new tools, machines, and items, as well as expanded functions and abilities for some existing items to add even more to your experience in outer space!

Galacticraft 3 was released in stable form on November 9, 2014. The version number of the "stable" release is 3.0.6.232 though actually it's recommended to update to 3.0.6.245 or later, as a few issues in the "stable" release have since been found and fixed!

Galacticraft 3 was first released in Beta form on July 24, 2014 for Minecraft 1.7.2, and on July 31, 2014 for Minecraft 1.7.10 / 1.7.2 (dual compatible), and went through a number of Beta versions prior to version 3.0.6.

Galacticraft 3 consists of three mod files: GalacticraftCore, Galacticraft-Planets and MicdoodleCore. Galacticraft-Planets was formerly named GalacticraftMars, and that is still its internal mod name.
