Mars Surface Rock is the equivalent of grass on The Overworld. It completely covers the Mars surface.

Unlike Moon Turf, you do not leave footprint as you walk on it, and it is not possible to plant tree saplings directly. You need to use the Terraformer to convert the blocks into grass blocks.
