Moon Turf is a block the generates naturally on the Moon, and it is equivalent of Grass Block on The Overworld.
Obtaining
Moon Turf will drop as an item when broken with any tool or by hand, but a pick or a shovel is the fastest way to break it.
Natural generation
Moon Turf completely covers the Moon's surface, normally just one block deep, except around the Moon Dungeons entrances.
Usage
Moon Turf has no specific use, unless for earthwork.
It can be used as building material and it is sealable, but it is very weak due to its low blast resistance; meteors can destroy this block on impact.
As you walk over it, footprints will appear, which will fade away after a few minutes.
Farming
It cannot be used for farming for being sterile. It is not possible to use bone meal or hoe. You cannot plant tree saplings and double tall flowers directly on Moon Turf, but (note: this may be a bug!) you can place flowers on it.
To convert it into farmable soil, you need to use the Terraformer.
Data values
Moon Turf has only one possible tile name: GalacticraftCore:tile.moonBlock, data value 5.
