The Refinery is a machine block that uses electrical power to process Crude Oil into usable Fuel.
Usage
An oil bucket placed in the refinery's input slot will be converted into an empty bucket, and the refinery's oil reserve will fill slightly.
The refinery can be powered by placing a Battery into the battery slot or connecting a power source to the top side of the block with aluminum wires. Once powered, the refinery will slowly convert any oil in the oil reserve into fuel, which can be emptied by placing an empty canister into the output slot. One bucket of oil converted into fuel is enough to fill one Empty Canister, which in turn is enough to fill a Tier 1 Rocket.
There are also fittings on the sides of the refinery block to allow pipes (from other mods like Buildcraft or Mekanism) to be connected. This allows oil to be pumped directly into the machine and fuel to be pumped out to a Fuel Loader. The black fitting is for the oil source and the yellow is the fuel output.
The speed depends on the energy tier:
- Tier 1: 10 fuel per second
- Tier 2: 20 fuel per second
